The Meet in Europe event was held at the AB Skipper Hotel in Barcelona on Thursday, 8 March.
Meet in Europe events provide a unique opportunity for ECM members to exhibit together, promoting both their own destinations and the organisation as a valuable destination finding service for Meeting Planners.
Visitors are local Meeting Planners interested in European destinations who can meet directly with the Convention Bureau representative responsible for their region.

2006 JMIC Profile & Power Award won by EFCT Board Member Mr. Hervé Bosquet, Managing Director of Brussels International
Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) President Barbara Maple today announced the winner of the 2006 JMIC Profile and Power Award as Mr. Hervé Bosquet, Managing Director, Brussels International - Tourism & Congress (BITC) for his role in developing and staging the Brussels Meetings Week. The "Meetings Mean Progress week took place in Brussels from the 13th to the 17th of February 2006 with the aim of increasing public awareness of the importance of the Meetings Industry and raising its profile through various events in Brussels.
